The Flower of Death

essica Nahas is a new author, finding writing as her passion late in life. She always had stories stuck in her head since she was a little girl, but just recently gathered the courage to start putting them on paper.

When she’s not writing, she’s enjoying a slow and simple life. You’ll find her being a couch gremlin, drinking several cups of coffee, or out playing in the garden. She loves nature and enjoys going swimming or on hikes with her husband and dog Penelope.

She grew up in Northern California with her family; surrounded by redwoods, rivers, farms, vineyards, and rocky beaches. There wasn’t a lot of city life but there was plenty of nature to enjoy and it influenced her upbringing immensely. Wherever you went, it would be beautiful.

Recently she relocated to sunny Southern California, trading the redwoods for palm trees and white sandy beaches. While the city life is a shock, she enjoys the consistent weather that makes it easier to grow her garden.

Writing has become near and dear to her as it allows her a therapeutic release. Being mentally ill, writing gives Jessica a flexible schedule that works with her disabilities while also getting the stories in her head released. She is diagnosed Bipolar 1 with ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder.
